My Day at Junior High

As the sun peeks through my window, I know it's time to start another day at junior high. My name is Li Hua, and today, I want to share with you what a typical day is like for me.

I wake up at 6:30 AM sharp, just as my alarm clock sings its morning tune. After freshening up, I head to the kitchen where my mother has prepared a nutritious breakfast. It's essential to have a good breakfast to keep my energy levels up for the day's lessons. At around 7:15 AM, I leave for school with my schoolbag filled with books and my favorite pencil case.

The school is located on Centre Street, and it's a 15-minute walk from my home. I usually arrive at school by 7:30 AM, which gives me enough time to review my notes and get ready for the day. Our first class begins at 8:00 AM, and we have four classes in the morning. My favorite subject is English, and I enjoy learning new words and phrases.

After lunch at 12:00 PM, we have a short rest in the classroom. Then, we have three more classes in the afternoon, including science and math. I usually have a snack at school, which helps me to stay focused during the afternoon session.

At 3:30 PM, classes are over, and I head home. I usually spend some time studying or doing my homework at home. At 6:00 PM, I have dinner with my family. After dinner, I like to relax for a while and maybe listen to some music or read a book.

At 9:30 PM, I go to bed. It's important for me to get enough sleep so I can be well-rested for the next day.

This is a typical day for me at junior high, and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in the coming months.
