高中生活的挑战与成长

自从我上高中以来，我住在学校，远离了父母。我有三个室友。刚开始时，我们住在同一个房间里有困难，但现在我们已经习惯了。其中一个室友给我留下了深刻的印象。自从她来到我们的房间，她养成了睡前阅读小说的习惯。她告诉我，当她和父母住在一起时，她不敢读书，因为她的母亲会责怪她睡得太晚。现在她很高兴自己终于摆脱了控制，似乎获得了自由。但我也为她感到难过，因为她现在近视了。更重要的是，她落后于其他人了。

The Challenge and Growth of High School Life

Since I entered high school, I have been living at school and away from my parents. I share a room with three roommates. At first, we had trouble adjusting to sharing a room, but now we have gotten used to it. One of my roommates has made a lasting impression on me. Ever since she joined us, she has developed the habit of reading novels before bed. She revealed to me that she dared not read when she lived with her parents because her mother would scold her for staying up late. Now, she is delighted to be out of her parents' control, seemingly free. However, I feel sorry for her because she has become shortsighted. What's more, she is falling behind her peers.

坚强的意志是成功的关键。没有坚强的意志，就无法实现目标。生活中充满了挑战，但只要我们坚持不懈，就一定能够克服它们。例如，戒烟虽然看似简单，但实际上很难成功。这正是因为剑不会像水滴石穿那样持续不断地努力。

Strong Will and Success

A strong will is essential for success. Nothing can be achieved without it. Life is like a marathon, and many people fail to reach the finish line not because they lack vitality, but because their will to succeed is not strong enough. Taking quitting smoking as an example, some people think it's a piece of cake, but in reality, it's rarely achieved. The ability to keep doing something over and over again in a short period may suggest its ease, but in the long run, over a lifetime, things may turn out to be quite the opposite.
